Jason Campbell was born in the big city of Detroit, Michigan (ROCK CITY).
While in college Jason became the guitarist for Saints of Fire, X-Ray, and August Child. It was with August Child that Jason gained more exposure to the Houston Music Scene. He, along with August Child band members, experienced many accomplishments and performed throughout the state of Texas. Jason was also one of the nominees for On The Rock Magazine Guitar Player of the Year in 1995.
Since 1993, Jason Campbell has had the great opportunity to work along side with David Parker, Founder of Lost and Found Sound Company. They have worked with National Artists such as David Crowder, Mat Kearney, Nicole Nordiman, Mat Neely, and Houston's own Wayne Kerr. Jason has gained a vast amount of knowledge in both live and studio sound, which has enabled him to have his own studio. He has recorded demos for various local artists and musicians. As the pages turned, Jason Campbell became the lead guitarist for The Kingdom Boyz which later became Temple Street.
During the six years of performing with Temple Street, Jason and the band experienced great accomplishments and exposure as well. They also had the opportunity to be seen on one of Christian Televisions Youth Shows regularly. This is where Jason Campbell met Movie Producer Chris Page. Jason has completed the soundtrack music for the movie Into the Wind, soon to be released in Spring 2006. Jason is already hard at work on music for Into The Wind II. Awesome things are happening for Jason Campbell and he gives God all the honor and glory! |
